I have lived in Seattle for exactly one month and FINALLY had my first out of town visitor.One of my treasured friends, Shaya, came up from Portland for a Saturday afternoon wedding and stopped in for an evening/morning to visit. I had so much fun with her and our trip visit was cut short a little early as she received a call at 6am on Saturday telling her her little sister was in the middle of labor! We quickly packed up her bag, grabbed breakfast at Macrina and then sent her back to Portland (unable to go to the wedding) to be there for her sister.
It was so fun having Shaya in town, even if only for 18 hours. It was a little taste of Portland which I've been really needing.
Now... who is coming to visit next?
Dinner at Via Tribulani Friday // 7 pm
Dessert at Molly Moon's Ice Cream Friday // 9 pm
Breakfast at Macrina Bakery Saturday // 10 am
