Roshambo: A love story trilogy

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Nearly a year ago Free People presented Roshambo, a short story starting Sheila Marque and Christopher Abbott (Girls' Charlie). I always fall for the missed connections and second chances... especially when they feature Charlie from Girls.

Be A Man, Joe Ehrmann at Tedx

In mid-October my little nephew will enter the world. As his parents raise him, I firmly believe that their community, church and friends also play a big role in helping to nurture and develop him. That means I too will have a small part in contributing to the man Noah becomes.

That's a lot of responsibility!

RIP Google Reader

When I learned that my beloved Google Reader was on its death bed I was deeply saddened. He had been my friend for so long. Through good and bad, long and short, we had experienced so many posts together.

I am allowing for time to move on and get over this loss by slowly dipping my toes into other readers. This week I have focused on Feedly, next week, who knows...

As you find ways to read your favorite blogs and news sources, I am hoping to make it as easy as possible for you to stay connect to AndBubblegum. Directly coming here and BlogLovin are still the same but now I'm connected on your two of your possible favorite social sites too: Facebook and Google+

Never Grow Old

I hope that when I am in my 90's I am just as vivacious and my husband is still as frisky. Note: Must relearn piano.

A Lifelong Love Affair

Myhabit

There is such an intrinsic partnership between design and copy. If the design is bad, no copy can save it and if the copy is bad, design can't help either. But as much as I love great design, it is the messaging that has the ability to win me over.

With MyHabit.com, I get both.

After getting this tweet I took the time to really check out the site.

Which is when I became smitten with the buyer's copy... especially Meredith's.

And then I found these...

To take the cake, I soon later learned they use live video for their product shots. This is a display method I think all online retailers should use.

My Mom's on Twitter

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCph8E9HuMc]

No really... she is.

Sometimes she says powerful things like this:

Or this:

Plus, she really likes shorthand:

Is obviously smart:

And sometimes silly:

Love my mom and love the video @Twitter made for Mother's day... especially the opening.
